You were heavenly azure;
You were hellishly mad.
You dilated like an intoxicated

and I shrunk beneath you;
I placed you as mythological.

You were the court jester,
who was really the judge.
You were the judge that was
really the jury. Let's face it,

you were the entire courthouse itself;
One hundred corrupt faces shrieking
for justice. You were the law under ether,
and the ether underwater,

and it was all over me.
So please, can you take
the bottle shards out of
the bodega of your heart?

Can you stand up straight
cut the caustic crap? Leave the
harem you've stayed in for
a year? Trade your silks for truth.

Fall and dwindle. Hem
and haw. I want to see you
eye-to-eye. I want to fight someone
my own size.
